How to Avoid Hemorrhoids While Pregnant


Hemorrhoids while pregnancy is one of the worst situations for one because it is much painful and discomfort thing that can makes you unhealthy or ill.  To treat this painful disease some tips are give bellow that will help you and provide some relax from such problem.    


1.   Apply ice packs to your hemorrhoids. When hemorrhoids start itching then you can apply ice pack to reduce swelling and itching, but avoid using them for too long. Apply the ice pack for 5-10 minutes at most each time.
2.    Sit on a cushion. Always sit on the foam cushion, this will provide some rest to the hemorrhoids area, you can also use doughnut cushion to sit on. Through this you get some relieve from the pressure connected with hemorrhoids.
3.   Try baby teething gel. It is one of the oldest techniques but very effective, if you have very painful anduncomfortable hemorrhoids then apply a little bit of baby teething gel on the spot. This gel includes the local antiseptic that can reduce the pain and discomfort.
4.  Stay hydrated. To avoid pain while bowl process stay hydrated, take more glass of water. It is necessary to take at least 8-10 8 oz glasses per day. Stool (feces) includes large amounts of water and so that the more water a stool contains, the softer it will be. A softer stool is much easier to pass.

Eat more fiber in your diet. Foods that contain fiber is very important to take if you are fighting with hemorrhoids , fiber helps stay water in the stool and sizes it up so that it passes throughout the rectum and anus very easily. Good sources of fiber include:

·         Whole grains-- barley, corn, brown rice, rye, bulgur wheat, kasha (buckwheat) and oatmeal
·         Fruits, especially with the rinds
·         Vegetables with leaf like Swiss chard, collard greens, spinach, lettuces, beet greens
·         Beans and legumes—Take beans and legumes in a limited quantity but be aware because eating beans and legumes can increase intestinal gas.
